Perform general office work to ensure efficient clinic operations and patient care. Requirements: High school diploma or GED required. 1 year experience in a medical office setting preferred. Minimum 35 wpm typing speed preferred.
Experience with Allscripts or other electronic medical record system preferred. Medical terminology preferred. Biâ€"lingual Spanish skills preferred. Computer knowledge and 10â€"key experience preferred.
DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Excellent communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of medical and financial information. Ability to multiâ€"task. Excellent customer service skills to identify patient needs and facilitate action to meet those needs.
