To meet the demands of growth, this brand new hospital outpatient clinic in Eastern Colorado is recruiting a new Nurse Practitioner. Please note: This is a permanent EMPLOYED position, not a contract. The type of Candidate we are looking for is an individual who is large and in charge. This will be a person who doesn’t stand around waiting for someone to tell them what to do. The successful Candidate must be able to handle a wide diversity of ages, from cradle to grave. The successful Nurse Practitioner must be comfortable with not having a physician on hand. There will be a dedicated Internist to handle problems 24/7 by telephone. And narcotics scripts will be reviewed by the Internal Medicine physician also, of course.
The typical schedule will be Monday through Friday, approximately eight to five. Because of the demands of this position only experienced NP’s will be considered. We are looking for a NP who will be willing to get involved in the community, maybe join some community organizations, attend health fairs and give health related lectures when appropriate.
