An internal medicine clinic in Northeast Colorado is seeking a full-time Internist to join their practice!
This facility offers:
An annual salary of $180,000 - $200,000, plus sign-on bonus of $20,000 Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off and a 401(K) plan CE allowance of $2500 and 5 paid days off Relocation assistance up to $10,000 Malpractice insurance and professional fees paid by the hospital Breakfast and lunch provided daily for physicians Loan repayment is available through the hospital’s own program and is also eligible for federal and private program funding. A hospital-based internal medicine clinic is hiring a BC/BE Internist looking to practice in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. Interested providers must be available to start working this year. The position is with a quasi-hospitalist program where the providers will practice as a hospitalist one in six days, including ER coverage and ICU, and will work in the clinic the remainder of the time with minimal travel to a satellite clinic in Sterling (45 miles away) twice a month. Preferably, the new candidate will also do Pulmonology, but it is not required. The average patient load is 12 patients a day. The weekly schedule is Monday to Friday which includes an administrative half day. This schedule is flexible and if the new provider would like to work four 10 hour days or have a different arrangement, this can be negotiated. This clinic is able to support a J-1 Visa waiver. The facility is a 50-bed acute-care hospital, fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The facility is dedicated to serving those-in-need and takes pride in being a state of the art quality, safety net clinic for residents of the community and surrounding areas. Their goal is to treat each patient as if he/she is family. The hospital fully utilizes an EMR system. With a Level III Trauma Center, a 24-hour Emergency Room and many other services, the local hospital chiefly serves a two-county area of 35,000. Diagnostic imaging services include MRI, Nuclear Medicine, CT, Radiography, ACR-certified Mammography and Ultrasound. The Health Professional Shortage Area Score (HPSA) for this site is 8 per HRSA.
