As a Strategy Manager on our Channel Operations team, you will be responsible for leading the strategic network optimization of one of the fastest growing channels at Starbucks. You will also lead the strategy for how we empower our partners to provide the optimal Delivery experience for our customers.A successful strategy manager develops and manages cross-functional program team members; can function and thrive during times of uncertainty and changing priorities, understands and effectively leverages the organization to accomplish business goals, and models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
As the strategy manager of Delivery channel operations, you will:
- Develop and drive the Delivery network optimization strategy – You will drive short- and long-term strategy for how Starbucks supports the Delivery channel. Through a blend of analytics and partnership with our Digital Retail Experience and Market Planning teams, you will develop the criteria required to support a great Delivery experience for partners and customers.
- Manage 3PP relationships – You will be responsible for managing our relationship with 3PP partners, including portfolio analysis, day-to-day operations, new store launches, etc.
- Lead the development of store solutions for the Delivery channel – You will lead the development of new solutions that deliver best-in-class experiences to our partners and customers in the Delivery Channel, including collaborating and actively problem solving with cross-functional project teams to ensure timely and strong execution.
- Cross-functional collaboration: You are able to connect the dots of all the different stakeholders and build relationships needed to effectively do the work.
- Manage others – You will set goals for the work team and actively providing partners with coaching, feedback and development opportunities and modeling leadership behavior for the larger team.
- Enjoy working on an energetic, fun team and have a clear ability to drive the business forward as part of a highly collaborative team, while acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles. We are a newly formed team, and need partners who can take initiative and get excited about creating something new!
We’d love to hear from people with:
- Strategic leadership in a cross-functional environment, 6-10 years
- Retail operations experience, 3+ years
- Progressive experience leading the development and implementation of new or existing solutions or strategies
- Experience managing others, 3+ years
- MBA Strongly preferred
