Why does the job exist?
This position will plan, coordinate, and evaluate operational and administrative activities of federal Infrastructure Act grants, including responsibility for program procedure development, outreach design, coordinate the drafting of program forms, contract scopes, requests for proposals, manage program reporting and grant management logistics, serve as the program internal and external liaison.
How does it get done?
This position will coordinate the internal and external management of federal infrastructure Act grants, plan, coordinate, and evaluate the operational and administrative activities of the Infrastructure Act grant.
Who are the customers?
This position must coordinate regularly with clean energy stakeholders, constituents and various state and federal agencies.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with experience providing contract, project, grant or program management to include:
Experience in the management and oversight of federal grants and state budget.

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years program administration or project management in areas related to the purpose of the position. Substitutions apply. See Substitution Table below.

Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification within 90 days of employment.
Working Conditions
Work is usually performed in an office setting, with extensive exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT), personal computer, tablet, printer, calculator, cellphone, copy machine, scanner, keyboard, and telephone usage. Occasional travel, working extra hours, working on weekends and holidays.
