Account Assistant [Malaysia]


 

Job Scope

  • Reconcile accounts with the general ledger
  • Prepare payment vouchers and cheques
  • Handle daily accounting data entries and journal entries
  • Handle daily bookkeeping of invoices.
  • The candidate will act as a Basic Accounting/Bookkeeping/Accounts Executive for this job position
  • Maintain accounts receivable
  • Able to monitor billings and collection of debts
  • Monitor customer account details
  • Carry out other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor/superior
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash, etc
  • Process credit card payment or non-payments delayed payments and other irregularities
  • Assist with month-end closing

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree or professional certificate in Finance/Accountancy or equivalents.
  • The candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • MATURED, able to work under stress and pressure.
  • Great organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required
  • Candidate must have own transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
