Payroll Specialist Nordics [Denmark]

We are looking for a payroll specialist to join our wonderful HR Operations Europe team in our office in Copenhagen.
You will be the important link between Sony HR Payroll and our outsourced Payroll vendor and with the support of our HR colleagues and data from our HR system Workday, you will deliver high-quality payroll data and reports to our vendor. It’s important that you enjoy independent work and are dedicated.
With an excellent eye for detail and good knowledge about mainly Swedish payroll (+ Denmark, Norway, Finland as a step 2), you will be working in a faced pace global company and collaborating with colleagues from different HR areas across Europe like the HR data team, HR Operations, Mobility and Finance. In the Nordics, we are, as rest of Europe, a diverse team who works closely together on a daily basis, and we are very passionate about what we do and how we can deliver excellent HR support to our employees.
For this role, we believe that you have a couple of years of general payroll experience and a plus if you have experience working with external Payroll vendors and have expatriate and union knowledge.
We offer the possibility to be living in Sweden or in Denmark and have your home office in Copenhagen with a flexible working hours and flexible 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office.
This is a one-year parental cover.
You will:
Supporting the team for the timely and accurate data preparation for the input to our outsourced payroll provider, according to the payroll calendar
Supporting payroll processing, meaning supporting in running payroll-related activities by coordinating with vendors and payroll parties to deliver accurate and timely payments throughout the year. Review of monthly payroll data outputs.
Coordinate services with the HR information systems, HR program managers, and technology specialists.
Collaborate with vendors on any requests relevant to the Nordic region and support with evidence during the SOX Audits.
Key responsibilities are:
  • Prepare data for Payroll Input as per line manager instructions in a timeline and accurate manner.
  • Checking and interpreting data output from the provider as per instruction and providing vital support for other areas
  • Supporting the successful completion of any internal or external audits.
  • Collaborate with local HR on a resolution of payroll data queries that arise from the payroll provider, escalating where appropriate to the relevant individual, department or authority.
  • Review the case queries, understand the customer needs and request additional information through our Case Management Tool (Dovetail)
  • Collaborate with the payroll team for vital improvements
You bring:
  • 2-3 years experience in Swedish payroll (another Nordic payroll would be an advantage)
  • Knowledge of SOX processes and Unions experience
  • Proficient in English and Swedish or/and Danish.
  • Experience working within a multicultural organisation
  • Collaborative teammate with an eye for details
  • Workday system knowledge is a plus
