Ressu Comprehensive IB World School is looking for class teachers (2) to English stream elementary classes. We follow the Finnish curriculum in an IB frame. Pedagogically we work in teacher-collaboration sharing the class responsibilities and planning.

We seek for teachers with strong collaboration, ICT, differentiation and pedagogic skills who are willing to comply the school strategies and are able to work with students with different needs.
Qualification requirements:
Qualification requirements are determined according to Decree 1998/986. If there are no qualified applicants for a fixed-term position, applicants without the necessary qualifications will also be taken into account.
A person hired in a fixed-term position must submit an extract from the criminal record as referred to in the Act on Checking the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children (504/2002).
We will consider it an asset if the applicant has understanding about the Finnish curriculum and student assessment, as well as skills of teaching art- and skills based subjects.
